Pilot Stitchers Needed!

Have you ever wanted to participate in a new project?  Something that no one else has seen yet?  Have you ever wanted to have input in how instructions for projects are written?  Here is your chance!

Jody Maple is going to be the EGA Education Publication chairman!   She will be coordinating the Petite Projects, Technique Basics and Dress Red for Heart projects.  She needs pilot stitchers for some of these projects.

A pilot stitcher stitches the project and makes any corrections/suggestions to the instructions so that when the project is published it can be easily worked by other stitchers.   For most of the projects it doesn’t matter if you are a beginning stitcher.  In fact, that can be to your advantage, because you will probably be more likely  to see things in the instructions that need updating/explanation.  There will be several pilot stitchers for each project.

At times, the pieces stitched by the pilots will be used for photography for the front cover of the instructions.

Usually the piloted projects will need to be completed within 2-3 months after receiving the instructions.

Jody is going to start an on-going list of volunteers, so that as projects come up she can contact people.  She is currently looking for pilot stitchers for a pulled thread project and a beading project with a little polymer clay and surface embellishment.  Both of these of Dress Red for Heart projects.

If you are interested in in piloting either of these projects, or if you would like to be added to the list for future projects, please email .
