Scholarship Application Forms

  • Honorary and Memorial Fund Scholarship Application Form (pdf file)
    • The purpose of this scholarship is to further the education of Greater Pacific Region EGA members. The education includes needlework related seminar and workshop classes, self study and/or research in needlework related areas of study. The study is not limited to EGA sponsored or hosted courses. The Fund money may be used for class fees and travel to class or study locations, but it is not to be used for material fees, except when part of a class package.

  • Diane Clements Scholarship Application Form (pdf file) APPLICATION DEADLINE: December 31, 2017
This is the first of four scholarships in the amount of $350 available to any member of the Greater Pacific Region for the study of Japanese Embroidery or Beading. It is sponsored by the JE Special Interest Group of the Evergreen Chapter.
    • As part of Diane’s personal study of embroidery she included the study of Japanese Embroidery. During her career as a teacher and student, Diane provided invaluable leadership and commitment to EGA. Diane had the ability to bread down a daunting technique into its basic components so that students left her class feeling confident and empowered. She was a marvelous teacher and inspired many with her work. We hope to honor Diane’s life and help inspire other Japanese Embroidery students with this scholarship.

  • Liz Coder Stamp Scholarship Application Form (pdf file) APPLICATION DEADLINE: December 31, 2017
This is is a one time scholarship in the amount of $800 available to any member of the Greater Pacific Region. It is meant to partially cover cost for the 2018 GPR Seminar in Sonoma excluding travel, kits, and off-site lodging.
    • Liz Coder Stamp of Redwood Stitchers had a reputation for creating smiles wherever she went, especially with her stitching friends. Liz loved many embroidery techniques, both learning and teaching. She held multiple chapter positions, and adored Region Retreats, usually becoming the life of the party. Having been very excited about Vines and Stitches, Liz was saving as fast as she could and had planned to attend for the entire week, hoping to be a class angel. Liz tragically lost her life in an arson fire that destroyed her home in June. A group of her friends want to fulfill Liz’s Seminar dream by helping to send a member in Liz’s name.
