, GPR Education Chair

This report submitted by Margaret Azpeitia-Taylor 2004-2005 Education Chair.

All EGA members are invited to join me at the next Education meeting on Saturday, October 7, 2006. We will be sharing ideas for Needlework Education.  I plan to hand out Halloween needlework charts.

At this October region meeting, I will be completing my term as GPR Education Chair.  Thank you to all of those who have attended the Education meetings during my 2 year term and helped share Educational Needlework information with their chapters.  It has been great and your efforts with this organization are truely appreciated, as this helps keeps alive the skills and art of needlework.

GPR sponsored Acorn GCC:  Completed pieces are to be turned in at the October 7, 2006 region meeting.

Congratulations to Jodie Maple, who has been nominated as the In-Coming Education Chair.  Installations are to be held at the upcoming October region meeting, with her first Education meeting at the Feb 2007 region meeting.
