WESTERBEKE RANCH CONFERENCE CENTER, SONOMA
OCTOBER 26 – 28, 2007
San Francisco Chapter

Printer Version [.pdf]

San Francisco chapter is anticipating our first retreat for our members, a weekend to relax together and work on whatever projects strike our fancy. This is a chance to spend some quality time together, do a little hiking, relax in the pool, and enjoy being in a very different environment. We will not have a formal class or contracted teacher for this retreat, plan to bring a couple of your projects. Any EGA member is welcome to join us. Go to the website, www.westranch.com, for details about the location. The Scrapbook page has lots of photos. There is a pool, a spa, a labyrinth to walk, and a massage center nearby. The conference center can accommodate up to 22 people in our group. The accommodations are in large cabins with several bedrooms, each bedroom with single beds and bath. This means shared bedrooms but not shared beds. We will have a meeting room for our exclusive use, with lots of windows, a view, and a deck or patio. The Ranch kitchen staff is headed by a California Culinary Academy grad, uses Sonoma Valley produce, and bakes all the breads and desserts on site. Meals are served buffet style, and the kitchen will work with anyone who needs a special diet.

The fine print: The basic charge covers the sleeping accommodations, meals, and use of the meeting room. The basic per-person charge is $290 plus taxes, and the weekend tab will run around $335-350, depending on details.

To register for the weekend, please send your name, address, email, and phone number, with your deposit check for $150, payable to: SFEGA. Mail to: SFEGA, P. O. Box 413, San Francisco, CA 94104. Get in touch if you have any questions: contact Molly McLaughlin. WE’D LOVE TO HAVE SOME COMPANY FROM OTHER GPR CHAPTERS!
